Steven H. Maris, 67 of Lone Star was born on December 10, 1951 to James W. and Katherine E. Maris. He died on February 11, 2019 in Lone Star. Steve worked in the oilfield industry for many years, grew up in Kansas and was a member of the Christian faith.Steve was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his wife Mary Maris of Lone Star; daughter Katie Maris of Longview; stepson Justin Blackwell of Hughes Springs; and stepdaughter Megan Blackwell of Hughes Springs; sisters Katherine Maris, Nancy Potter, Eleanor Young; and brothers David and Robert Maris; and 8 grandchildren.There will be no services.Donations may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
