Scott Darby officiating.Roy was born on November 12, 1954 in Los Angeles, Cal. and died on Monday, January 18, 2016 in Dallas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cason, worked as a mechanic for Daingerfield ISD and Longview ISD.Survived by his son and daughter-in-law J R Thomas II and wife Malorie of Daingerfield; grandson Gage Thomas of Daingerfield; sisters Renee Thomas and Bernie Thomas; nieces Georgia Nava, Janet Nava and Carol Ann Nava; nephews Anthony Nava and Salvador Nava; aunt Lucy Nelson and cousin Roy Nelson.
