Only in a small town on a summer day could you be downtown and hear piano music flowing out the door of downtown business! Lori you showed so much joy on those piano keys. And the yellow jacket and that beautiful flaming red hair when telling me the story of being in the movie “Bernie.” Bless your heart, I remember the call when you told me you were ill and going to write a diary of it for me to write a story later. The story I can write now, my friend with wings, is you are truly dancing with Jesus! Marlene

Lori, We met at Market Days a few years ago in your lovely booth, enjoying your plants. We realized we were ‘Survivor Sisters’ and immediately had a bond. Market Days will not be the same for me. I’m glad to have our joyful memories. Make a joyful noise with the Lord. ???????

Dear Lori Ellen…I still have no words. I will always remember our years in Houston, Mike and I, and you and Bobby G, then that all day lunch at Cadillac Bar and Grill when BG had just told you he wanted a 2 year vacation and we laughed and cried and the old oil man and his two ‘girls’ told us lunch was on him and we had an open tab and stay as long as we wanted and enjoy our day. Well we did and before the night was over we had bought a round of drinks for the entire restaurant…on that oil man’s tab. And had a night of singing with Robert and David. We did shows together and loved art and old Victorian homes. And you and I went out to eat Italian with baby Alta and that was my 1st time out to eat with a little one…I did not know children wore their food!,, you,Carol Anne and I at Galveston, Dickens Festivals, Then you and Dick and me and Randy and the ladies at lunch. I moved, you moved and slowly we did not see each other… I was in Lubbock and you were still in Daingerfield with your family… I was at Boeing then sick for 6 years and when I returned to Dallas I never called you because I had so changed because of my illness I did not want you to see me…Now I am so sad I did not see you…Friend forgive me…I am sure You and all the angels will be having fun! And wearing your jewelry!
