Windel Ray JonesServices for Windel Ray Jones, 80 of Daingerfield will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday at Veal Switch Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Oglesby and Bro. Michael Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Veal Switch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Ray was born on August 2, 1937 in Omaha, Texas to Milton and Lois Cook Jones. He died on Sunday, May 20, 2018.He was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church. Ray worked for Tuboscope and T & N for 54 years.Preceded in death by his parents, brother Tob Jones, sister Myra Jo Tucker and grandson Adam Ferris.Survived by his wife of 60 years Sarah Floyd Jones of Daingerfield; daughters and son-in-law Stephany Jones and Kevin Ferris of Daingerfield; Sandy Jones Shaffer of Henderson; 5 grandchildren Blake Ferris, Zach Ferris, Garrett Long and wife Kayla and Derek Long; 3 great grandchildren Eli Long, Alyssa and Ava.In Lieu of flowers make donations to Adam Ferris Memorial Scholarship FoundationNTCC Foundation, % Lori Hunter, lhunter@ntcc.edu.Family will receive friends from 6 til 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
