Alvie Thomas William "Bill" Hanson, Jr. Daingerfield- Funeral services for Alvie Thomas William "Bill" Hanson, Jr., 63 of Hughes Springs will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield with Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Bill was born on April 21, 1954 in Marshall to Alvie Thomas William Hanson and Lennie Bell Williams Hanson. He died on Friday April 20, 2018.Bill was a member of First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield and a member of the Daingerfield and Hughes Springs Masonic Lodge. He worked for U S Steel from 1980 to 2016 and was currently employed at Benteler Steel in Shreveport.Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister Carolyn Baker.Survived by his wife Billie Sue Hanson of Hughes Springs; daughter and son-in-law April and Chet Daniel of Frisco; son and daughter-in-law Hunter and Chloe Hanson of Austin; sister and brothers-in-law Nancy and Russell Pilgrim of Woodville, Forbes Baker of Rosharon; brother and sister-in-law John and Suzanne Hanson of Hallsville; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John T. and Sandy Leslie of Naples; grandchildren Emerson and Everett Daniel of Frisco; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M.
