Jerry Lee ChamblissDaingerfield- Services for Jerry Lee Chambliss, 82 of Daingerfield will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 20, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church with Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in the Cornett Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Jerry was born on August 10, 1934 in Morris County to Leonard Arthur and Josephine Chambliss. He died on Friday, February 17, 2017 in Tyler.Jerry was a member of First United Methodist Church and served as Tax Assessor Collector in Morris County for 44 years.He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Jared Jack Chambliss and brother Kenneth Chambliss.Survived by his wife Pat Hampton Chambliss of Daingerfield; daughter Penny Chambliss DeFrank of Plano; son Tracy Chambliss of Daingerfield; brothers Bill Chambliss of Seagoville and Wayne Chambliss of Cuero; grandchildren Ariel Chambliss of Plano, Briana DeFrank of Plano and Alex DeFrank of Plano.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
