GEORGE RAYMOND REED, JR.Daingerfield- Funeral services for George R. Reed, Jr., 80 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.George was born on September 4, 1936 in Jackson, Mississippi to George Raymond and Bertyle Elizabeth Reed. He died on Thursday, February 16, 2017 in Daingerfield.George was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cason, a 33 year employee of Lone Star Steel, Mason of the Hughes Springs Lodge and veteran of the US Army.He was preceeded in death by his parents, son James Reed and sister Mary Eva Harrison.Survived by his wife Ann Reed, daughter Toni Renee Zwiernik and husband Gary of Kenockee, MI., sons Andy Ingram and wife Lisa of Hughes Springs; Paul Ingram and wife Denise of Daingerfield; sisters Linda Kizer of Pittsburg, Tx., Nan Lee of Atlanta, Tx and Elizabeth Heath of Franklin, TN.; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 til 8:00 P.M. Monday at the churchDonations may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church in Cason.
