Nancy McKinney PhillipsDaingerfield- Services for Nancy McKinney Phillips, 77 of Daingerfield will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, August 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church with Bro. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Nancy was born on August 2, 1940 in Hughes Springs to Earl W. and Inez Williams McKinney. She was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 4, 2017 after a brief illness.She was a Methodist, homemaker and co-founder of Phillips Concessions. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 48 years Don E. Phillips, previous husband Jimmy Poteet, brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Pat McKinney, sister Karline Vaughn, grandson Jeffery Phillips and great granddaughter Kellyann Vaughn.Survived by her daughters Connie Schexnayder and husband Wilton of Crosby, Debra Holmes and husband Danny of Pennington, Kay Schexnayder and husband Richard of Crosby, Dedra Walsh and husband Richard of Daingerfield; son Russell Phillips and wife Darlene of Daingerfield; brothers Neil McKinney and wife Barbara of Mineola, David McKinney of Daingerfield; 19 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

  4. Nancy and Don were our neighbors in Lone Star and we had really good times when our kids were young – Little League, room mother, Halloween carnivals. They were such truly good folks and we will always treasure the memories we made.
