Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Charles Thompson officiating.Darrell was born on February 26, 1935 to Clifton Clark and Doris Edna Norwood and died on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Mansfield, Texas.He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and retired from E-M Great Lake Chemicals where he was a Chemical Engineer.Darrell was preceded in death by his parents.Survived by his wife Jo Etta Norwood of Daingerfield; son and daughter-in-law Todd and Renee Norwood of Colleyville, Tx.; daughters and sons-in-law Holly and Jim McKellar of Murphy, North Carolina; Jennifer and David Littman of Mansfield, Tx. Grandchildren: Dustin Norwood of Dallas, Bethany Norwood of Dallas, Brooke Norwood of College Station, Lacee McKellar of Nashville, Tn., Kyle McKellar of Knoxville, Tn., Cecilee Cook of College Station, Tate Littman of Mansfield, Reese Littman of Mansfield. Jarrod and Shawna Clarkson of Dallas and Adam Clarkson of Dallas; 5 great grandchildren.

When the Norwood family lived at 2449 Greenhill, Mesquite, TX 75150, Darrell was the scout leader of pack 1045 that met in the cafeteria of Tosch Elementary 2424 Larchmont. Darrell’s wife Jo was a domesticated servant ( a housewife ) . Darrell’s son Todd was born in 1960, Darrell’s daughter, Holly was born in 1962, The Norwood family later had another daughter Jennifer. The Norwood family had a basset hound in their backyard ” Claude ” that was entertainment for the entire city of Mesquite. The Norwood family was from Teague, TX where there was once an insane asylum. Todd and Holly pronounced it ” Tig ” to verify that they were from Texas. David S,
