James Norman HigginbothamDaingerfield- Services for James Norman Higginbotham, 86 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral home Chapel with Bro. James Edward Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery.James was born on November 29, 1929 in Upshur County to William Virgil and Annie Belle Higginbotham and died on Monday, July 11, 2016 in Winnsboro.He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Daingerfield and was a self employed dirt contractor.James was preceded in death by his parents, wife Audrey Higginbotham; daughter Elaine Crocker; brothers Henry, Dugan and Travis Higginbotham; sister Faye May.Survived by his son and daughter-in-law James Michael and Johnnie Gail Higginbotham of Scroggins; daughter Sandra Gail Crocker of Atlanta; sister-in-law Bobbie Higginbotham; grandchildren John Michael Higginbotham, DeWayne Crocker, J. R. Crocker and Jennifer Hooten; 8 great grand children; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 1 till service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
