She died August 23, 2015 in Longview.Joyce was a member of Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill V. Nix and son, Jimmy Ray Nix.Survived by her son Billy Don Nix of Tyler; grandchildren, Bennie A. Nix and wife Donna, Sean Nix and wife Kim, Stephanie Hargrove and husband Shane, Jimmy Ray Nix, Jr. and Kris Nix and wife Oshawneci; great grandchildren, Keagan Hargrove, Morgan Hargrove, Kyle Nix, Jordan Nix, Jansen Nix, Lainey Sharp, Tyler Nix, Bralyn Nix, and Cade Nix.
