Gayle McFarlandDaingerfield- Funeral services for Gayle McFarland, 54 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Curtis Eppnett officiating.Gayle was born on September 17, 1959 in Daingerfield and died on Sunday, August 24, 2014 in Daingerfield. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a RN for Good Shepherd Medical Center.She was preceded in death by her mother Anne Fair.Survived by her husband Kevin McFarland of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard and Trisha Wilson of Hughes Springs, Derek Wilson of Hughes Springs and Glenn McFarland of Pittsburg; daughter and son-in-law Rachel and Chris Robertson of Daingerfield; father Richard "Dick" Fair of Daingerfield, brothers and sisters-in-law Richard and Patty Fair of Diana and David and Tressie Fair of Daingerfield.6 grandchildrenFamily will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Gayle, You and God gave me Sherry for a few more weeks in 1995. You were such a Good Nurse and a kind person to me and my Family at a time of need. David, Dickie, and Mr. Fair, I remember as a young boy coming over to your house and the whole family made me feel like part of the family. Gail treated me like a little brother. I am so sorry for your loss. I know she is in heaven with her mom. The hard part is staying behind.

Kevin and family, even though we didn’t know your Gayle, we know she was angel on earth. Your families loss is definitely heavens gain. We pray that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, put His warm loving arms each of you and gives you peace. I visited with your Dad this morning, he really loved her, as we love you. I worked with Gayle and the Institute for Healthy Living. She was such a genuine person. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Kevin and Family. How fruitless I feel my words are for your loss. I hope you can feel the comfort and peace in knowing that Gayle touched so many and made such a contribution to everyone’s life who knew her and our community. There is no better testimony in life than to be truly missed by many. She is and will be for sure. I feel for your broken hearts and the loss of someone too soon and pray for God’s peace and understanding for your family.
So sorry to hear of Gayle’s passing. She was a wonderful student when she played in my band. I don’t member ever seeing her without that beautiful smile on her face. The last time I saw her was when she invited me to speak at the Band banquet several years ago. I will always cherish the time I had to visit with her My prayers are with her family.
Gayle you will be missed dearly . I meet Gayle thru gsmc on my insulin pump set up. She was very helpful and like the stories she told .grand kids was very important to her .God bless the family.

I knew Gayle from her job as Diabetes Coordinator at GSMC. She did some teachings with me observing her and a patient learning to operate an insulin pump. She was wonderful at her job, and an excellent teacher. She was my role model as a diabetes educator, and had a very sweet spirit.
Continuing to pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time. May God be with each one of you daily and give you the strength you need. Gayle was a precious person and will be missed by so many.
