Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Daingerfield Cemetery with Bro. Mike Nichols officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Vinita Ann was born May 8, 1920 in Daingerfield to Byrd and Vinita Connor Irvin and she died on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in Dallas.Vinita and her husband Gerald were the owners of Jones Furniture Store and Jones Shopping Center in Daingerfield. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Daingerfield and active member in Sunday School ministry and at Pinecrest Nursing Home visitations before moving to Dallas. In Dallas she was involved with many activities at Preston Hollow United Methodist Church.Vinita Ann was preceded in death by her husbands Gerald Jones to whom she was married to for 58 years and Fred Richards.Survived by her son Edwin Jones and wife Marsha of Dallas; daughter Judith Anderson of Mesquite and former son-in-law Ian Anderson of Dallas; step children Jean Bruce of Conroe, Fred Richards, Jr. of Richardson, Kenneth Richards of Little Elm and George Richards of Addison; grandchildren Merilea Orr and husband Jeff, Jeremy Jobe and wife Donna, Ashley Anderson, Elaine Anderson, Brendan Kenna and Maura Casone and husband John; 9 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
