Josephine Dockery CowanDaingerfield-Funeral services for Josephine Dockery Cowan, 90 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Don Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral home.Josephine was born in Chandler, Texas on June 1, 1924 to Joseph Franklin and Annie Dockery. She died on Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Gilmer.Josephine was a member of First Baptist Church and had lived in Daingerfield for 62 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers L. C., S. Q., and her twin brother Joseph, sisters Jackie, Alvina, Dura, Louvena, Beatrice and Bertha, husband, G. M. "Mickey" Cowan, son Ronald M. Cowan.Survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Martha Cowan of Gilmer, Steve and Terry Cowan of Daingerfield and Sharon Cowan of Mt. Pleasant; 8 grandchildren, Brent Cowan, Collin Cowan, Clint Cowan, Joel Cowan, Clay Cowan, Lee Cowan, Kip Walker and Shelli Cole.18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren .Family will receive friends from 1 till 2 Wednesday at the church.
