He died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Hughes Springs.A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home from 2:00 till 4:00 P.M.David was a Baptist and former truck driver for Lone Star Steel and Tubescope.He is survived by his wife Brenda Massingill of Hughes Springs; daughters and sons-in-law Beatrice and Jay Blackburn of Hughes Springs, Tina and Richard Gaskin of Naples, grandsons Charles Vaughn and wife Becca of Hughes Springs, Bobby Vaughn and wife Sheena of Hughes Springs, Montana Gaskin of Naples, and Randall Blackburn of Hughes Springs, granddaughter Georgia Gaskin of Naples; great grandson Cale Vaughn of Hughes Springs, brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Carolyn Massingill; sisters and brothers-in-law Kathie Hart & Greg Jacobs, Roseland and O.C. Rupe, Fredda & Billy Childers.
