Eris Elouise Davis Daingerfield- Funeral services for Eris Elouise Davis, 90, of Houston formerly of Lone Star will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at theAvinger United Methodist Church, Texas with Rev. Lester Colley officiating. Burial will in the Avinger Cemetery. Arrangements are underthe direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis was born May 25, 1923 in Peach, Texas and died August22, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was a member of First United MethodistChurch in Lone Star. Survivors include her son, Carter Baxter Davis, Jr. & his wife Elle of Houston, Texas; daughter, Dr. Suzette Tardif & her husband Richard of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren: Michelle Davis Beaver, Rachel Tardif, and Emma Tardif; great grandson, Spencer Haden Beaver; brother: Herbert Young of Avinger, Texas; sister: Mary Carlisle of Coushatta, La.
