Thursday, January 9, 2012 at Daingerfield Cemetery with Rev. Ben Terry officiating. Mr. Ramey was born January 3, 1927 in Alabama and died Thursday, January 2, 2012 in Boaz, Alabama.He was a Presbyterian and retired from Lone Star Steel. Survived by his wife, Novel Ramey of Boaz, Alabama; son, Mike Ramey of Kilgore; daughters, Jackie Davis of Daingerfield, Cindy Martindale of Arp and Beth Brown of Houston; brother, Jim Ramey of Daingerfield; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
