James and I saw the best of times and the worst of times together. Our friendship had a lot of miles and life lines. You may have a lot of friends in this life, but if he called you a friend, you truly had one you could depend on. His passing creates a void that can’t be filled. He was one of a kind. The good news is, I will see him again.
You brought me so much joy and laughter and it will never leave my memories. You and your wife at the time brought me through much heartache after mother died ….. great temporary roommates. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
My condolences to James’ family and friends.
Our sympathy goes out to all of the family. Remember we will all get to see him again. He will be forever in our hearts. May God be with each one of you and help you through the days ahead. We will continue to pray for you all. Love, Jimmy and Janice Reid

Sincerely, Bryant Dalby

Many great and fond memories will live on but as usual, life is too short! My condolences to all of James’ other friends and family.
I cannot believe he is gone! James was such an easy person to be around. Always had a bright smile and a friendly disposition even when things were not going the best. Spent three years after college living in my home town of Daingerfield and James became a close friend. His memory is a good one; care free days filled with young fun !
My condolences to all of James’ family and friends. I have many fond memories of growing up on the “corner of Short and Peak” in Daingerfield.
