Harold Thomas Byrd Daingerfield -Graveside Services for Harold Thomas Byrd, 78, of Daingerfield will be held 10 a.m. Monday, August 22, 2011 at Clark Cemetery with Norman Miller and Scott Darby officiating. Arrangements are under thedirection of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mr. Byrd was born August 11, 1933 in Morris County, Texas and died August 21, 2011 in Longview, Texas. He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ, a U.S.Army veteran, and retired from Lone Star Steel.He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman & Dovie Byrd; wife,JoAnn Byrd; daughter, Karen Hosea. Survivors are a son, David H. Byrd; daughters and sons-in-law, KathyPrecise, Janet and Bobby Barrickman, Karla and Bobby Strickland all ofDaingerfield; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
