Marvin Randolph Aly, Jr. Daingerfield - Memorial service for Marvin Randolph Aly, Jr. 78, of Lake of the Pines will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Norman Miller, Tim Gibbs, and Randy Aly, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Mr. Aly was born July 20, 1932 in Houston, Texas and died February 11, 2011 in Longview, Texas. He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ,a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a pilot. He graduated fromTexas A & M University with a degree in mechanical engineering and retired from Texas Instruments. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Lynne Jones; brother, JoyceRandolph Aly. Survivors included his wife, Jean Aly of Lake of the Pines; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Aly and Doug Gruender of Fountain Hills, AZ; sister, Jane Waldrop of Bryan, TX; 3 grandchildren, Rees Jones, Elaine Jones, and Nataly Gruender;1 great grandson, Brodie Jones.
