I extend my deepest, sincerest heartfelt condolences to Homer Ray’s immediate family. Please take comfort in knowing that Homer Ray is in Heaven chopping wood for his mother, my Great Aunt Ellie, and for Uncle Charlie!
Mr. Ray will truly be missed. We spent a lot of time talking over the fence. He had the most kindness heart of anyone we have ever known. Always there to help a neighbor. We enjoyed watching him work on his boats, in his yard, and the love in his eyes for Ms. Pauline. We have lost a valuable neighbor. Thanks to God that our paths crossed. We will never forget him and his heart of gold. We pray for the family in hopes God will bring you peace in knowing that January 15 was picked his day for a new body and to be with our Lord. Mr Ray is looking down & grinning because of all the fuss we have made. We will never forget that smile. We love you Mr. Ray. Rest in peace. Randy & Connie Hodges
So Sorry to hear about your Dad. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Have nothing but super memories of Homer Ray’s mother, my Aunt Ellie. She was one of the reasons I loved going to paw paw Rainey’s house. I loved her banana puddin! I know your dad is having some right now with her fried chicken!!!! Again, I’m really sorry! Jackie Gilmore
We will truly miss Ray. He would always wave as he was passing us and if he had time, he would stop and visit. He was an extremely kind man and we know that we will deeply miss him. Blessings to you all!
