Helen Marie JenningsDaingerfield- Funeral services for Helen Marie Jennings, 83 of Daingerfield will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday December 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Don Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery in Simms. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Helen was born November 3, 1931 in New Boston to Oscar and Eva Perry. She died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Daingerfield,Helen was a member of First Baptist Church, charter member of the Morris County Historical Society and the Morris County Historical Museum. She was also a member of the Pandora Study Club.Helen was preceded in death by her parents, son Jerry "Corky" Jennings and sister Geneva Harlow.Survived by her husband, J. C. Jennings of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Theresa Jennings of Daingerfield, Randy Jennings of Daingerfield; granddaughters, Lindsey Jennings of Daingerfield, Lanie Jennings of Yantis, Lauren Jennings of Mansfield, Erin Jennings and Leslie Jennings both of Daingerfield; numerous nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or charity of your choice.
