Joan Stone GunterDaingerfield- Joan Stone Gunter, 84 of Little Rock, Ark. was born on January 4, 1930 in Marietta, Tx. to Earl Wayne and Mable Rountree. She died Monday, January 6, 2014 in Little Rock.Joan was the former office manager of The Baptist Book Store and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock. There was nothing she loved more than her family and church.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Gunter, 2 infant sons Allen Clark Stone and Bruce Wayne Stone, 4 brothers Frank, Earl Wayne, Pat and Gaynor Rountree;Survived by daughters and son-in-law, Phyllis and Jim Miles of Little Rock, Helen Stout of Little Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Kathie Stone of Conway, Ark.; grandchildren, Jonie Burks (George) of Little Rock, Jason Tefteller of Oklahoma City, J D Stone (Renee) of Conway, Ark., Josh Stone of Conway, Ark.; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Burks, Logan Burks, Jordan Burks all of Little Rock, Dylan Tefteller of Oklahoma City and Ava Tefteller of Houston. sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn Conley of Linden, Joyce and Raymond Ryan of Pittsburg, Linda and Jimmy Monts of Pittsburg; brothers, Rex Rountree of Houston and Curtis Rountree of Lone Star; Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at South Union Baptist Church with Rev. Neal Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery.Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral HomeFamily will receive friends from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the church.
