Charles Richard O'DellDaingerfield- Funeral services for Charles Richard O'Dell, 80 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church with Bro. Jerry Irvin officiating. Burial will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Charles was born on July 22, 1933 in Daingerfield to Ernest and Cleo O'Dell and died on Friday, November 15, 2013 in Longview.Charles was a member of Bradfield Chapel Methodist Church and was retired from Lone Star Steel.He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Phillips.Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jon Miller of Longview; son, Gary O'Dell of Minot, ND; brother and sister-in-law, Dwain and B J O'Dell of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, Logan and Ellen Miller of Longview, Joshua Miller of Longview, Ashlyn Miller of Longview, Tiffany O'Dell of Texarkana, Jesse O'Dell of Daingerfield and Garrett O'Dell of Minot, ND; great grandchildren, Karsen Nelson, Karter Pollan, Kennedi Northam and Kodi Howell; nieces, Connie Schexsnayder, Kay Schexsnayder and Kelly Kennedy.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Charlie was a good fellow and a good friend that I always enjoyed visiting with at the dances. God has a time and a plan for all of us, we just don’t like to lose our friends here on earth!!
