  16. Extending heartfelt condolences for your loss. I have a daughter around the same age as Tanner, and while I cannot begin to understand what you are going through, I do know that there is no greater pain than that of a parent losing a child. Comfort and hope can be found within the pages of the Bible. Psalm 86:6,7 says “Listen, O God, to my prayer, and pay attention to my pleas for help. I call on you in the day of my distress, for you will answer me”. Yes, God is a source of strength and refuge for us. Revelation 21:4 assures us that soon death will be no more, and Acts 24:15 holds out the hope of the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. May this bring you a measure of comfort at this very difficult time.
