James Wardlow " J.W." NorthamDaingerfield- Funeral services for James Wardlow "J. W." Northam, 95, of Daingerfield will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday August 29, 2012at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.J. W. was born February 20, 1917 in Morris County and died Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Daingerfield.He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a veteran of the US Army Air Force serving during WWII. J. W. was also a Master Mason for more than 60 years and retired from Lone Star Steel.Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Northam; brother, Donald Northam and sister, Dorothy Roden.Survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Elaine Nienkamp of Lewisville, Rhonda and Garry Hall of Pittsburg; brother and sister-in law, Doug and Hazel Northam of Reno, Nev.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruby Faye and Leahmon Lee of Longview; grandchildren, Mary Nienkamp and Platt Glasscock, Ann and Mark Christopher, Jean Nienkamp, John Nienkamp, Adam Hall and Eric Hall; 4 great grandchildren; caregiver and special friend, Wanda Carter of Omaha. Several nieces and nephews.Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church New Educational Building Fund.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.   4. Just heard about this, and its too late to travel there for the funeral. I saw him last October of 2011; I am the son of Leta Ann Awtry, and the grandson of the late Allie Rea Northam-Awtry, to his immediate family, my prayers are with you in this time of loss to our family, and wish you well.
