Johnny Patrick Spencer
Celebrating the life of Johnny Patrick Spencer, a cherished soul born on September 11, 1960, in Daingerfield, Texas, where he resided his entire life, and where he peacefully passed away at the age of 65.
Johnny was married for 38 years to Sandy Sanders, also of Daingerfield, and together they shared a life full of love and dedication. His career as a roofer was a testament to his hard work and persistence, continuing in the trade until he was no longer able.
A man of simple yet profound interests, Johnny had a genuine passion for old Harley Davidson motorcycles, cherished classic cars, and was an enthusiast of old school Rock-N-Roll. He spent countless hours tinkering with various projects, which not only brought him joy but also showcased his hands-on expertise. In his earlier years, when health permitted, he delighted in fishing—a hobby that brought him closer to nature and offered tranquil moments of reflection. As the years progressed, he found comfort and enjoyment in binge-watching various TV shows, a pastime that provided him relaxation and entertainment in his later years.
Johnny is lovingly remembered by his family including his daughter, Stormi Scott of Redwater; his sons, Jeremy Spencer and his wife Madilynn of Daingerfield, Christopher Sanders of Daingerfield, Jason Sanders of Daingerfield, Josh Sanders and his wife Amanda of Hughes Springs; and his adored ten grandchildren, who brought tremendous joy and brightness to his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carnon “Catfish” and Eula Spencer. Their legacy of warmth and family values lives on through Johnny and his extended family.
Johnny Patrick Spencer will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, worked hard, and took great pleasure in the simple joys of life. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him as a symbol of strength, passion, and love.
Cremation service have been entrusted to Horn Family Funeral Home and Cremations of Daingerfield. A celebration will be announced at a future date.
