Anthony "Pete" Lee Robertson

Anthony Lee Robertson aka “Pete”, 69, of Longview, Texas, passed away on November 12, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi. Pete grew up in Mississippi, served in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, and later made his home in Texas. He worked as an electrician for many years.

Pete loved fishing and could most often be found on a lake. He also loved carpentry, his horses and his dogs. He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Hallsville. Pete was always joking around and never knew a stranger. He could talk his way in or out of anything. He was a true outdoorsman, a storyteller, and a heart as steady as his aim.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Robertson and Myrtle Clark; his brother, Reggie Robertson; and his sister, Helen Russell.

He is survived by his sons: Bobby J. Robertson and wife Marsha of Salt Lake City, Utah; Brad Robertson of Coffeeville, Mississippi; Gary Robertson of Longview, Texas; and Anthony Robertson and wife Heather of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by his former wife Rita Robertson of Longview, Texas; his wife Beverly Guess of Longview, Texas; his stepchildren: Gegina Russell and husband Ray; Ginifir Seay; and Edward Rogers; his grandchildren: Mariah, Brandy, Hayden, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Lucas and Kinsley; his step grandchildren: Stormy, Holdin, Gauge, Kash and Phinix; his great grandchildren: Guinevere, Royri, Madison, Charlie with one on the way; his step great grandchildren: Sebastian and Stetson; his sister Marsha Williams of Queen City; his sister Christie Clark McCullough of Longview; and many nieces and nephews.

He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Horn Family Funeral Home.
