Dorothy Ann Price

Dorothy Ann Price, 86, of Daingerfield, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025, reuniting with her late husband on what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary. She was born on December 27, 1938, to William Driskell Gregory and Alice Edna Lange.

Dorothy devoted her life to her family, faith, and community. She was a loving homemaker who found joy in sewing, cooking, and making her home a warm and welcoming place. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at South Elementary School, where she cared for generations of students before retiring.

She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Daingerfield and a proud member of the Eastern Star. Dorothy was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed a chance to cheer on her team. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and dedication to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milton Price, and her parents, William Driskell Gregory and Alice Edna Lange. She is survived by her children, Gregg Price and wife Linda of Diana, Texas; Judy Price Tucker of Naples, Texas; and John Paul Price of Daingerfield, Texas. Her grandchildren are Jenny Weems and husband Shawn of Little Elm, Texas; Ashley Miller and husband Chris of Naples, Texas; Jessica Neeley and husband Brandon of Gilmer, Texas; Mark Price and wife Summer of Diana, Texas; and Levi Price of Diana, Texas. Great-grandchildren are Weston Denton and Holden Price; Kinslee Applegate, Brittney Neeley, and Maddox Neeley; Tucker Miller and Audra Miller; and Lilah Weems and Avery Weems.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery Association in her memory. Dorothy will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her strong faith, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life.
