Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” Ragsdale, 60, of Daingerfield was born on October 21, 1964 in Pittsburg, Texas to James Ragsdale and Roberta Bushore Ragsdale Smith. He passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 at his residence.

Kenny as his family and friends knew him, loved old cars and trucks, drag racing, dirt track racing and rebuilding them. He was a guy, that if you needed help with your car or truck, he was there to help. He loved his dog, fishing, visiting with friends, but most of all, he loved his family.

Kenny was proceeded in death by his parents; son, David Fulks; sister, Madessa Ragsdale. He is survived by his wife Kallie Renee Fulks Ragsdale; children, Michael Wayne Ragsdale, Brittany Nicole Ragsdale, Joshua D. Fulks and Mariah S. Adams; brother, “Pug” Ragsdale; 7 grandchildren and numerous other family members.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, September 5, 2025 in the Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. The family will receive friend beginning at 10 AM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or American Kidney Foundation.

  4. Condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to know him as a friend when I was married to my ex husband in my early twenties. I even got to drive his amazing car to the races and back in Winfield. We had a small group of friends back then that hung out all the time. God bless.
